Eva Mendes is both an actor and a model. A talent agent discovered her talent and advised her to make a profession in the field of acting or modelling. After some thought and reflection, she chose to quit her university to pursue a career in the entertainment sector. The film she made her debut in was the feature film Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror and was disappointed with her own performance. In order to prove that she was an effective actor, she worked very intensely and appeared in numerous film projects with a low budget. It was not an straightforward path for the actor but her power of will and determination was rewarded.
